Good morning and happy first of December!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about the people in your life and gain some ideas for presents you want to place under their Christmas tree.

While it remains uncertain if Santa will be able to fly across the globe and deliver his presents on Christmas Eve, you can start by browsing and fulfilling some of your family and friend’s Christmas wish lists.

Here are some personally-chosen Christmas ideas that I’ve found in the last couple of days.

1. Hampers

This type of gift is fit for any occasion but on Christmas day, they are always a delight to open and never fails to evoke excitement from the recipient who is eager to find out what is inside.

Truth be told, I’ve only considered this as a Christmas gift in the last week or so. There is a range of hampers available online that can be delivered directly to your door or the giftee.

In some cases, you can also choose what day you would like the hamper to be delivered, but this must be checked first.

Hampers are diverse in their contents, usually good value for money, and can be gift wrapped for that extra personal touch. They are a thoughtful present for the whole family or that one special person.

2. Phone Wallets

I have already ordered several of these from Byselena.co.uk which I found advertised on Instagram. How glamorous they look may have also been a persuading factor, and they come in several different shades.

There are many styles of phone wallets i.e. crossbody bags, clutches, and even as a sticker to attach to the back of your phone.

It is a handy accessory for when you’re just popping into a store or picking your kids up from school, or going for a run.

This could also be a great stocking filler if you do not want to give it as the main Christmas present.

3. Lego

Creativity is ageless.

What was once associated as a child’s toy brand has now expanded to meet many adult interests.

These classic sets will please family members and friends of all ages as they recreate one of their favourite TV or Film backdrops. ‘Fun’, ‘imaginative’, and ‘entertaining’ are just a few words to describe every experience when building with Lego.

Something that kids can also look forward to is the Lego Advent Calendars which are available through selected department stores.

My online basket already has a few lego sets ready for purchase, it has gifts for cousins aged from 5 years and up. This includes Star Wars, Friends, Disney, Marvel, and Minecraft.

4. Loungewear

With no choice but to spend more time at home these past several months has resulted in a rise in demand for warm and cozy loungewear to wear around the house.

Personally, I’ve had to purchase a few more jammies and nightwear whilst in lockdown for maximum comfort as my closet lacked the essentials. Which is why I strongly believe that this type of gift would be appreciated by anyone.

Last month, Oprah shared her Favourite Things in 2020 and it featured a number of chic brands ranging from different price tags and companies. Many of these listed businesses were black-owned or -led which sell comfy and trendy loungewear such as SavageX.com and Softies.com.

It is important to treat your loved ones with gifts that are meaningful and will have them basking in this holiday season.

5. Fancy Soap and Bath Sets

Give the people in your life a break from their everyday brands and upgrade their bathroom cabinets with some luxury baths and shower products. Everyone should have the necessities to treat themselves with a little TLC and pampering this winter season. Trigger their senses with sweet and fruity or natural and floral scents.

Many companies offer a variety of blissful bath and body sets which are suitable for both men and women, certain skin types, and meets budget restrictions i.e. under £50, under £25, etc. There are also plant-based bath and shower gifts for glowing and healthier-looking skin.

If you know any pet owners, do not leave out their fluffy companions from your Christmas list.

In addition to catering for humans, have a look at some premium fancy soaps which thoroughly cleanse and deodorise fur while caring for their tender skin.
