It is my birthday later this month 🥳 so to mark the occasion, I wanted to add another post to the ‘Gift Ideas for Writers‘ series.

Great nonprofit, great magazine filled with thoughtful articles by prominent writers, and countless suggestions (contests, submission possibilities, etc) for all writers. I also love your #1 gift suggestion. I happened to be in a writing workshop led by the inimitable Annie Lamott when she was working on Bird by Bird (which all of us laid claim to helping with) nearly — gasp — 30 years ago; have loved Annie and all of her books ever since.
