5 Must Visit (Online) Stores

Hello lovelies!

Online shopping has always had the association of being more convenient with access to a wider variety of goods for better prices than high street stops. But the biggest benefit that it poses this year is that it is a safer option with the absence of crowds during the Christmas shopping madness.

I’ve used these online stores on several birthday and special occasions, and as I’ve experienced reliable and easy exchanges each time, they quickly became my five most recommended places to shop.

Hopefully, they’ll spark some Christmas present ideas or tick off items in your Christmas list. You’re likely aware with a few of brands (number three being the most prominent).

1. Getting Personal

If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your shopping and gifts, there’s no better option than Getting Personal.

I’ve mentioned this site on a previous post and all year round they provide presents for birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries. The items available through Getting Personal include food and drink, homeware, photo gifts, jewellery, and stationary, and many more. They are suitable to different types of people from romantics to jokers to sentimentalists.

For the holiday season they are offering personalisation on advent calendars (chocolate and alcohol), baubles, stocking and sacks, and festive clothing. You can choose between a special message, adding a photo of your child or loved one, or both.

On average, delivery takes between two and three working days which is quite impressive considering most of its stock is customisable.

2. Origins

Nature-infused formulas, minimal packaging, and useful for all types of skin conditions.

This beauty cosmetic company offers plenty of promotions and gift sets to meet certain budgets such as gifts over £40, gifts under £20, gifts for her, gifts for him, etc. If you are interested in purchasing from Origins, be certain to check for discount codes and sales as they are a regular occurrence on the site.

I’m a huge fan of their Vitazing SPF 15 Energy-Boosting Moisturizer with Mangosteen as it makes my skin feel smoother and softer and gives my face a healthy glow. Useful for every day casual use, this product’s oil-free tint aspect provides a boost of freshness. I rarely use foundation anymore because it is quite lightweight and the contents can last upwards of several months.

On average, delivery takes between two and five working days.

NOTE: There is a disclaimer that due to current circumstances, delivery may take longer than suggested. But in my experience, delivery was quite swift and my orders still arrived within the three working days.

3. Amazon

Not a single soul on this planet is not familiar with this brand.

Founded 26 years ago, this company has expanded to become the world’s largest e-commerce platform. Whatever you want, Amazon has it. This is from books to food, electronics, stationary, video games, jewellery, toys, and more. Its products vary from vintage to mainstream, and who can refuse fast and easy shipping?

Amazon is known as a trusted online marketplace and some of this credit is due to the reviews. Because of its large base of users, most of its stock comes with really helpful customer reviews and customer product photos. These are a massive help when choosing which item you want to add to your shopping cart.

Personally, I already have some cheap exercise equipment saved in my account for after the holidays…shhh!

4. Moonpig

No special occasion would be complete without a greeting card.

Popular for their unique range of cards, Moonpig allows customers to personalise texts and images through its user-friendly website and mobile app. There are over 16,000 different cards to choose from, meaning there should be at least a few available for all kinds of purposes i.e. humour, romance, condolences, inappropriate, etc.

To fulfil every birthday, engagement, new arrivals and holiday needs, additional items can be sold alongside the greeting card, or separately. This includes flowers, food and drink like chocolate and alcohol, and conventional gifts such as mugs, candles, and balloons. Another great thing to purchase from Moonpig are its experience gifts, which can be used to pamper loved ones.

In terms of delivery, Moonpig has an average of one to three working days which is great for last minute orders.

5. Bunches

Brighten up your home with a bright and beautiful flower bouquet.

This family-owned business is widely used across the UK and is known for its gorgeous range of blooms. There are over a dozen types of flowers available, with the most popular and vibrant coming as part of a gift set. Examples include mini chocolate pizza or a birthday cake, chocolates, pink confetti, alcohol or a candle.

I have mentioned hampers in an earlier post and they were purchased from this website. Bunches has a wonderful selection ranging with different categories and target recipients, such as, chocolate and wine, cheese, for men, women, and vegans. The process was quite smooth and simple – be sure to check for any online vouchers to help cut down your cost.

Orders placed before 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and 11am on Saturdays guarantee next day delivery. However to confirm, the earliest delivery date is specified on the right-hand side of the web page.

What do you think of this blog post? Have you had a good experience shopping with the above mentioned online stores? If you have any more to include, feel free to leave a comment below! I hope you all are well and having a cosy December so far 😀

    • Thank you for reading! Same, shopped more on Amazon this year, so reliable and great delivery with every order, especially now leading up to Christmas. I hope you like Origins and find something which you deem useful ❤️ I’ve been using their products for years – the latest thing I’ve tried is their exfoliating face scrub 🙂
