Happy Tuesday lovelies! ☀️
It’s been a while since I’ve participated in a book tag and I found this great one from Kristin Kraves Books. Kristin is the owner of the blog and she is a fellow reading enthusiastic, writing engaging book reviews and more 💕 Please go and check out her website!

Ready? Let’s go!
1. A childhood favourite that you could read 100 times and still love.
One of my all-time favourite childhood novels is Candyfloss by Jacqueline Wilson. I have a fond memory of being hooked from the very first page and not wanting to put the book down until I was finished. Jacqueline Wilson is an incredible writer and I think this is a wonderful book for children because the storyline is different and fun with many relatable characters. Plus, Nick Sharratt’s illustration is beautiful.
2. A book you DNF’d but would be willing to give a second chance to.
It would have to be Started Early, Took My Dog by Kate Atkinson. It was classified as required reading for one of my university courses but I never got past the first chapter because size seemed so intimidating. However, from what I remember, it was really well-written and I would like to give it another try.
3. A newer favorite you would reread.
This one needed a little bit of thinking, but in the end, I chose Before I Go to Sleep by S. J. Watson. Simply because from beginning to end, it kept me on my toes and I didn’t know which characters to trust. The writing is spectacular and I would highly recommend it, especially if you haven’t seen the movie yet.
4. A book you hated and never want to read again.
Instead of using the word “hate”, I would like to say that I was not a fan and I haven’t gone back to touch again after ten years. In Beautiful Disaster, Jaime McGuire tries to portray the cliche “boring good girl meets irresistible bad boy” love story, but the execution leaves nothing to desire and I found their relationship creepy and toxic.
5. A classic you read in school but want to try again.
Universally described as ‘one of the greatest novels’ and a ‘perfect work of fiction’, it can only be Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert. During my studies, I could not get into it because the plot wasn’t interesting enough to me. But now that I’m older and my perspective has changed, I would like to brush off the dust and give it another try.
6. An author you would reread anything from.
After a book makes an impact on me, I like to search for more of the author’s work to sink my teeth into. I would reread anything from Jean Rhys because she has lived an incredible life which has influenced her writing style. Rhys’ books are hugely themed around identity, feelings of displacement, and based on her experience of living in a patriarchal society.
7. A series you want to reread for the fun of it.
My answer to this question would have to be Harry Potter. I love the creativity of the magical world and the friendship and sense of family between the three protagonists. But most of all, I like the distinctness and development of each character, whether you are meant to love them, hate them, or simply just tolerate them.
8. A book you’ve read but want to listen to the audiobook.
In the Inside and Out Book Tag, I mentioned that audiobooks are not preferable for me as I can zone out pretty easily thus would have to keep rewind the recording.
However, one book that fully captivated me (unlike anything else) while reading and that I think would compel me as strongly while listening is Bread Givers by Anzia Yezierska. Her writing and storytelling is incredible that my emotions were all over the place. I would like to experience it all again and think that an audiobook is a great solution.
What do you think? Are there are any books or series that you would like to reread? I would like to tag everyone who reads this post. If you have already completed this tag or will be doing it, please leave a comment with your link below 🙂

Can you please save this list because I’m not in the situation to read extra books but I love reading books? In the future, definitely, I’ll read these books.
I can suggest you some names but I would prefer to tell you the issues and understanding by myself. Maybe you’ll get something interesting(it’ll be a story) on this Sunday.🤗
